Brian Bowman was born and raised on New York’s Long Island and from a very early age became familiar with the art of hairdressing, following in the footsteps of his Mother, herself a talented Hair Stylist for Disney.  In addition to this, his Father was a successful Chemist with Estee Lauder, and this contributed to Brian’s knowledge and understanding of formula and color, an obvious advantage to him becoming an Artist and Educator with Redken.

Brian received the majority of his training with Redken, the leaders in the Hair Industry, who are recognized worldwide for instigating cutting edge hair techniques, styles and products, and balance a proven and consistent track record of professionalism, knowledge, and design with a pioneering intelligence and understanding of fashion and style.

Brian has fast gained a reputation in the Industry for developing innovative, trend-setting techniques that establish outstanding results in styling.  His background and education in design add incredible insight into all aspects of his creations, and coupled with a vast knowledge and understanding of structure, he guarantees an exceptional finished result.  This most certainly contributed to Brian winning Maly’s New Educator of the Year in 2003.

More recently Brian was Key Hair at the Spring 2005 and 2006, 2007, 2008 Los Angeles Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, designing and creating styles for the Ashley Paige, Heatherette, Sue Wong and Kara Saun, as well as Christie Martin, Winner of Gen Art.

Brian starred in the documentary “Peace, Love, And Bikinis” which won in its class at the New York Film Festival in 2005 and also co-hosted “Style Her Famous”  on the Style Network. You can also see his work @ The 2006 Grammy
